Relaxing into Wellness
We all familiar with someone who always greets us with tales of their
latest struggle with illness or of someone who feels that they are lucky
to be "still healthy" at their age. These attitudes, while being the norm,
often result in illness. Our task here is to replace these attitudes with
ones which celebrate health and wellness. If we agree that our attitude
and thoughts are important in how we live our life, then we should all
hold thoughts of well-being. If we take note of all of the people that
we know of who are healthy, their numbers far exceed that of those who
are ill. Why then should be believe that illness is the normal condition?
Let's change our approach! Let's start thinking of wellness and health
as being the natural states of being. It certainly can't hurt! Children
are a great source of inspiration. They possess boundless energy and great
passion. There is no law that states that we must relinquish our energy
to age. Try to speak of your health more often. Reminisce in your youth
with the intention of recapturing that old energy. Remember that you are
as young as you feel, so choose to feel as young as you were when you felt
your best. Enjoy your life, it's the only one that you have.
